Hyaluronic Acid: The Ingredient That Drinks More Water Than You Do 💧

Hyaluronic Acid: The Ingredient That Drinks More Water Than You Do 💧

Let's clear something up first...

Despite the scary-sounding name, hyaluronic acid isn't the kind of acid that's going to burn your face off. It won't make your skin peel, sting, or suddenly transform you into a tomato.

In fact, it's probably one of the kindest ingredients you can put on your skin.

Think of it as that friend who turns up to every party carrying snacks for everyone else. Except instead of snacks, it's bringing hydration.

So, what actually is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that naturally exists in our skin. Its job is simple...

Hold onto water.

Lots of it.

As we get older (rude, honestly), our natural levels begin to decline. That's when skin can start feeling drier, look less plump, and those little lines become a bit more noticeable.

Why I chose it for my Anti-Ageing Cream

When I was creating my anti-ageing cream, I wasn't interested in miracle claims or ingredients that sound impressive but don't really do much.

I wanted ingredients that have a genuine purpose.

Hyaluronic acid helps attract moisture to the skin, leaving it feeling softer, smoother and more comfortable. Well-hydrated skin also tends to look fresher and more radiant.

No magic.
No impossible promises.
Just skin that feels happy.

Will it erase every wrinkle overnight?

If it did, I'd probably be writing this from a private island.

The truth is, no skincare ingredient can stop time.

But keeping your skin properly hydrated can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and give your complexion a healthier, more youthful look.

And that's something I'm happy to stand behind.

Is it suitable for everyone?

Generally, yes.

Hyaluronic acid is loved because it's gentle and works well for most skin types, whether your skin is dry, oily, combination or somewhere in between.

It's simply helping your skin hold onto the moisture it already needs.

My favourite way to use it

I always recommend applying moisturiser to slightly damp skin whenever possible.

That little bit of extra moisture gives hyaluronic acid something to hold onto, helping your skin feel beautifully hydrated throughout the day.

The Glow Daily Promise

Every ingredient I choose has to earn its place.

I don't believe in filling products with trendy ingredients just because everyone else is doing it.

If it's in one of my creams, it's there because I believe it helps create skincare that's gentle, nourishing and a pleasure to use every day.

Because good skincare shouldn't be complicated.

Just effective, honest... and maybe a little bit cheeky.
